I'm having a problem running configure with qmail-scanner. I feel like there is something simple that I'm doing wrong but I can't figure out what it is. I have searched the list and googled myself silly but no solution is turning up.

Here's the scenario:

I have qmail-scanner installed and running fine, but I want to start deleting spam that exceeds a certain threshold. I have seen that there is an option for --sa-delete to be used when I run ./configure. If there is a simpler way to add this option without having to reconfigure, I'd appreciate any tips. I'm currently running qmail-scanner 1.20.

I have already downloaded and unzipped the source for 1.22. I stop qmail and run ./configure with my options included. The system returns a message saying that --sa-delete is an invalid option. If I run ./configure without this option (using only the options I used when I first installed) everything seems to work fine, but anytime I include this option, it keeps saying it's invalid and configure does not proceed. I also get this message if I run configure with nothing but the --help option. That to me is really weird. --help is an invalid option???
