Please read the documentation then! This has basically always been supported.

Run "./configure --help" and you'd see references to "verbose_spamassassin"
vs "fast_spamassassin".

Also, read the FAQ which specifically asks the question: "What's this
fast_spamassassin vs verbose_spamassassin"
