What exactly is supposed to be in the "defaultdomain" file? It was auto-generated by Plesk (v6.0.2), so I just always assumed it was right.
I don't know Plesk. you can try to write in that file the domain
part of the file "me", this is used only for unqualified
outgoing mails.
