This message seems to be intercepted by the sobroutine "working_copy", perlscanner doesn't scan it as there is a quarantine_event before it is called. You can add to $virus_to_delete something in the description above, try:
my $virus_to_delete="sobig|spam|somefool|dumaru|message.scr";
