Hi Steve, Check the file: /var/spool/qmailscan/qmail-queue.log
This file contains a step-by-step log of exactly what qmail-scanner is doing. Chances are that you'll find error messages like this: ERROR: Please edit the example config file /usr/local/etc/clamav.conf. ERROR: Can't parse configuration file. IF you got this error message and IF your clamav.conf file is stored anywhere other than /usr/local/etc/ THEN you need to do one of three things: a) put a link in /usr/local/etc/ to where your clamav.conf is b) move your clamav.conf to /usr/local/etc/ c) alter my $clamscan_options="-r ..." and add --config=<where your clamav.conf lives> I did c) and it worked for me. ELSE IF you got any other error message THEN at least now you know what the error is and you can hunt for the solution in the docs. Hope this helps! -----Original Message----- From: Steve Schofield [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, March 19, 2004 12:36 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Qmail-scanner-general]q/s 1.21 and clamAV .70 I'm installing qmail-scanner 1.21 and clamAV .70.
