[Qmail-scanner-general].exe not getting blocked?

Hi,
 
Please excuse my HTML mail but I only have web access right now.  I configured 
quarantine-attachments.txt to include .exe - see here:
 
.exe   0       Executable attachment not allowed - please use ZIP files
 
I then ran /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g
 
Next, I sent an .exe to an address in this domain, and the file was not stopped.  
Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?
