I have an email message that got through with the .doc.exe extension that
perlscan WAS finding right up till around 1:45am then there are no more log
entries showing an 'unallowed attachment' so f-secure should then take over.
Interesting that the extension type message reject quit at exactly the same
time as the f-secure definitions update runs. Anyway, I have an email that
came through at 3:24am with website.doc.exe attachment that perlscan didn't
recognize the extension and f-secure didn't scan (or recognize). There are
dozens of other messages that did get rejected because of extension till
1:45 then many more that got scanned and the .zip file was discovered with
f-secure. Will keep you posted on further developments.
