Second, qmail-scanner has recently stopped working with ClamAV. It seems like maybe the virus database has finally hit a size limit that is causing problems. I have tried to muck around with the softlimits on qmail-smtp and that doesn't seem to change anything.
The details.
os: gentoo linux qmail version: 1.03-r13 qmail-scanner version: 1.16-r2 ClamAV version: 0.60
Things had been working beautifully for a long time, yet viruses stopped being caught some time yesterday. The only thing that seems strange is that if I turn on debugging and send a know virus I see logging messages like:

The strange part is that the clamscan output is blank, which I don't think should be happening even if there is no virus. This is what makes me think that clamscan is not being run at all.
Does anyone have any ideas?
