Hello,

My setup with qmail scanner includes spam assassin, clamav, qmail, vpopmail,
mysql. Its all good, but most spam I get is misaddressed. I used to bounce
misaddressed email, but the unbouncable nature of spam got me to having
*huge* qmail queue's waiting to go out, and so I started just accepting it
all. Now I've written scripts to archive and nuke the junk, but I'd really
rather just ignore it. The system resources used to spam scan, and clam
scan all misaddressed email is too much to ignore. Is there a way to get
qmail-scanner to drop or /dev/null email right from the start if its
misaddressed?

IIANM, I would expect that to be a function to be handled by qmail-smtpd rather than your queue proggie. For example, I run qmail-ldap and have enabled the feature that returns a 55x on messages attempts to non-existent users. Should be a patch on qmail.org that will allow you to do this to stock qmail. (Maybe net-qmail handles it?)
