Have you checked your Spam Assassin Black Hole lists? Some of the

BH Lists are off line and can cause delays in processing mail
as the time outs are waded through.

On SA 2.61 ?? In which rule file (f you rememeber) ?

Regards,

/Brian

On SpamAssassin 2.55, if you run
   grep -i rbl /usr/share/spamassassin/*
you'll see the configured RBLs.

On our system I saw dns queries failing for orbs.dorkslayers.com. A grep of dorkslayers.com in /usr/share/spamassassin/* showed RCVD_IN_ORBS as the rule name. I put
score RCVD_IN_ORBS 0.0
in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf to stop using that rule. It seems to have worked. See 'man spamassassin' for more information.
