I have qmail up and running with no problems. Spamassassin itself is
working find with qmail-scanner, however I am having troubles with the
antivirus commands. I have tested ClamAV and found that it fails to
detect many common virii, so I have chosen to run other packages. I have
a lot of experience with Inoculate in winblows, so I trust it will work
just as well on Linux.

All commands work fine individually from the command line, however they
fail when executed within QS. One common error for inocucmd (Inoculate)
is:

03/10/2003 14:53:43:17973: error_condition: X-Qmail-Scanner-1.20rc3:
corrupt or unknown Innoculan scanner error or memory/resource/perms
problem - exit status 5

If I examine my /var/log/maillog I see entries stating that the virus scan
software pacakges are failing to read the file as QS seems to give an
invalid path to them:

clam:
 --output of clamuko was:
/var/spool/qmailscan/ion.arxys.net106521951745618618: Can't access the
file ERROR

inocucmd:
Cannot open file
[/var/spool/qmailscan/ion.arxys.net106521951745618618/1065219519.18620-0.ion.arxys.net]
for scanning.

f-prot:
/var/spool/qmailscan/ion.arxys.net106521951745618618/1065219519.18620-0.ion.arxys.net
Not scanned (in use by another application)

Did I miss something in the configuration on this? If I try to look in
the /var/spool/qmailscan path there are no email messages there.

thanks
