Hi Guys, I have installed:
RH9 qmail courier imap qmail-queue patch Spamassassin (spamd) tnef maildrop mcafee virusscan for Unix version 4.1.6 I had a bit of a problem with McAfee. It does not run on RH9 unless you do a trick: LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libc.so.6 uvscan This preloads the correct library. I set up an alias (in /etc/profile.d/color*) which created and alias for uvscan (uvscan='LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libc.so.6 uvscan') That all works nicely, but when I come to install qmail-scanner it hangs because it runs uvscan direct via /usr/local/uvscan/uvscan, which hangs.... Any idea's to solve this?
