ahh ha.... my suggestion:  do not try to integrate qfilter scripts with
qmail-scanner unless you really know whats giong on... they handle
things in completely opposite ways.    qfilter aims at being an
"in-line" scanner and qmail-scanner is a "disk-trasher" :)

you need to stick with how you are doing it, or make the switch and
modify qmail-scanner to log out to syslog... very, very easy to do.
