I'm sorry that was entirely my fault...
I phrased that wrong.... I want to silentize the sobig worm becuase of the face that the sender address isn't correct, and right now qmail-scanner is bouncing messages back to the sender with virus messages... What do I put in the silent portion? sobig? sobig.F? worm.sobig.f ?
QS 1.16 already has 'sobig' in its silent list.
The silent list is a case-insensitive pattern match so:
if you're using 1.16 and
if your *AV* is reporting it as Sobig.F, or FOO.soBig SoBiG_virus, or anything else matching 'sobig', it should not be sending alerts to recips.
Do you have AV working? If so, what flavor and what is it reporting the virus as?
If you're not using 1.16, upgrade or use 'sobig' in your config.
