Hello,
I recently installed Qmail 1.03 on my Redhat 9 box. Everything
from the Qmail distribution is working without a problem (patched with
qmailqueue patch).
I installed Qmail-Scanner 1.20rc2 and Clam Antivirus. I run the
./configure –install and it found everything, no errors and installed
the qmail perl script in /var/qmail/bin/ and created
/var/spool/qmailscan/
I also ran ./contrib/test_installation and I received the e-mails
according to the job it was suppose to do. I entered the following line
in my /etc/tcp.smtp file:
:allow,QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"
then I ran qmailctl cdb
My problem is when I use the server to send out e-mail (e.g : with
Outlook XP or any other client) I get 451 qq temporary failure. From
another account I sent out an email with the eicar virus and it went
thru, it never got scanned… what’s going on? Can anyone help me?
