This is very strange. I done this yesterday on my test-server and everything
worked fine, qmail-scanner is running smoothly there.

Now I just tried to do the same on my production-server and it does not want
to work. I followed the exact steps above and also searched the archives.
But I still get the error:

sudo /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g
Perlscanner generate new DB file
ERROR: incorrect format on line 82 - skipped
perlscanner: total of 9 entries.

Am I missing something here?

I am running on a Debian System, my configure options are:
./configure --admin zdavatz --domain ywesee.com --notify sender,admin
--log-details yes --install

Thanks in advance for any help and hints.
