well, what a nice thinking :-) I think Mr Jason Haar will be very
happy hear about it...Along with this fixing, i want to say, if anyone
come into trouble installing Q-S on Digital UNIX, i can provide some
tips

The one i came into is Perl syslog module, it said perl can found a
macro. My solution is to dig into the module source code (.pm) and
change the value of variable "syslog" into absolute path of your
directory (the one you choose). I don't know if this is dangerous, but
it works for me, and everything going fine
