Hello qmail-scanner-general,
I have several question:
1. What is the estimation amount of memory for sophie's usage?? i try
to limit sophie memory segment with softlimit (daemontools of DJB's)??
I ask it because i am little surprised with the fact that even 10-15
MB memory isn't enough (softlimit -a or -m). NB : i compile all this
thing with gcc version 2.95.2
2. yesterday, i add my server memory, so it became 1,152 GB for
qmail-scanner+sophie testing purpose. I went through all documented
way (Qmail-scanner, sophos, and sophie). And it came to production
stage. When SMTP session gets about 40-50 concurrent connection, all
went fine. One thing that I noted is memory usage is drop drastically.
using vmstat, free memory is around 80K :-)
And during peak hour (~80 concurrent connection), suddenly the
VM of UNIX yelling of low swap :-) So i turn down qmail, remove
qmail scanner, and turn qmail up again, and all went fine.
Any feedback about this??
