many thanks for the Q-S1.13 update Jason.
I took the opportunity to hook QS1.13 up with SpamAssassin and clamav.
>From what I can see, SA works OK.
Sent eicar test file and clamscan is being called but gets no output to use to
flag virii.

To work things out I disabled qmail-queue.pl's '&cleanup' to keep files during
testing and activated QS's configuration to use '--debug yes'.
I see clamscan being called but it gets/gives no output:

[snip]

[snip]

yet if I run the clamscan cmd line above by hand, all's well:
/var/spool/qmailscan/x.y.com102735567442330027/1027355675.30029-0.x.y.com: OK
/var/spool/qmailscan/x.y.com102735567442330027/eicar.com: Eicar-Test-Signature
FOUND

likely its some simple permission problem?, but I'm unclear as to where
exactly to start since SA run from Q-S seems OK.
The dir's/files of interest:

# ls -la /var/spool/qmailscan
[snip]
drwx------ 2 qmailq nofiles 4096 Jul 22 12:34

-rw------- 1 qmailq nofiles 2407 Jul 22 12:34

qmailq:x:1020:506::/var/qmail:/bin/false
clamav:x:7002:73:Clam Antivirus:/home/clamav:/bin/false

Pointers appreciated.
many thanks!
