Hello All I'm currently testing qmail scanner 1.12 with sophos sweep version 3.59 within qmail 1.03 on top of Digital Unix/Alpha 4.0 OSF1. I follow the guide and finally I came to real test. I injected a message into qmail, from my account into another account within same domain.
What makes me surprise is the time it took to scan single message. When send a message with ~500 KB, it takes 4.447266 seconds to scan. When i send another message with only ~30 alphabetical character, it took 3.83789 seconds.Geeezzzz :-) Any suggestion how to speed up this thing?? For note, currently I have 128 megs RAM, single Alpha processor.
