Hello Brett! I’m not familiar with the tools you mention but, have you looked at 3DCityDB? It’s an implementation of CityGML in a database environment. There are some tools and plugins to work with it. Some you can buy and some free.
No recommendations further than looking at the QGIS web site. I work for a school district in California, and I have seen plugins for 3D buildings that would be similar to ESRI's ArcGIS Indoors. I want to use QGIS to create a system that would be similar. Does anyone know if similar things have been done? Recommendation. I had started a GIS Certificate program through UCLA Extension, but a medical event necessitated my withdrawal from the program.
