Hi Kelvin,

when I understood correctly what you intend, I would suggest to create a point 
grid with horizontal 100 m and 40 m vertical spacing, and after that simply 
select all the points and use the "rotate object" tool that can be switched to 
snapping at 45° steps.

Good afternoon Everyone

I know how to create a N-S and E-W oriented grid using Vector-Research 
Tools-Create Grid. How do I create a grid with the line spacing being 100m, the 
spacing between each dot on the line being 40m, but the line oriented towards 
045 (NE).
