Advice from the QGIS Stackexchange pages suggested I post here first before raising a bug report, so please advise if at all possible. My problem is with QGIS 3.40.4 under Windows and Linux (Xubuntu). The Raster \ Miscellaneous \ Create virtual raster and the Merge processes both fail in both OSs.
