Dear QGis Community,
I have QGis 3.22.14-Białowieża installed (by using the „All-in-one“ installer/
.dmg) on my Mac M1, now running MacOS Sequoia 15.4.
After two years of using this version I would like to uninstall it. Of course I
would like to uninstall it cleanly and completely, not only removing the QGis
application from the applications folder but also removing all corresponding
programs and hidden files installed along with QGis.
Searching for „uninstall“ on the QGis website unfortunately didn’t show any
results. Because mostly addressing Windows or pertaining to specific user
requests my Google research also did not yield any clear or helpful
information, at least for my state of knowledge. As an absolute end-user of
this software, I would like to kindly ask for instruction on how to do a clean,
complete removal of QGis or where to find such information. (I know about such
instructions for complete uninstallation from other software, made available on
the websites of those software providers)
I want to apologize for asking such a basic question but I do so because I hope
for reliable information as this procedure includes deleting data on deep
system level.
I would really appreciate your help and would like to thank you very much in
advance for any advice!
