Good morning Nora (or afternoon) ,
I'm wondering if you select (draw a polygon using the select tool)
around one or two points you might select 2 or 4 points - you may have
points stacked accidentally.

Sorry, I now realised that I wrote “polygon feature”. I actually use
“Add point feature”

points in it, then the geometry should be "point"./
The geometry is Point.
