As a general rule, unless the application is specifically written to
take advantage of the graphics card, you may not see any noticeable
improvement in performance with a graphics card.

There is no set requirement, as hardware requirements vary depending

More is always better, Windows generally requires more than Mac &
Linux. A graphics processor with its own memory will help improve
performance, but is not required.
I'd suggest minimum is 8gb system memory, at least a 250Gb SSD, I5 cpu
or equivalent. Shared graphics with 256 or 512Gb memory allocated.
Ideal is 32Gb memory, 4Gb Nvidia/ATi graphics, 1Gb SSD, I7 or
equivalent AMD cpu (or better).

*Subject:* [Qgis-user] Recommended specification for Windows 11
Hello,
I am looking for the recommended hardware requirements for QGIS. We
are running Windows 11 and version 3.34 LTR of QGIS and experiencing
some crashes when rendering. I am suspecting that the laptops we have
do not have enough memory in them and am wondering whether a graphics
card with a certain amount of memory is required.
Regards
David
