oh yes, you hit the point!! What a dangerous little thing. And I thought
this plugin would help to better understand plugin dependencies.

I just tried to upgrade the qfieldsync plugin and got this message:

"C:\Users/Martin/AppData/Roaming/QGIS/QGIS3\profiles\default/python/plugins\a00_qpip\plugin.py",

line 128, in patched_load_plugin
     dialog, run_gui = self.check_deps(additional_plugins=[packageName])
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It looks like the error is caused by the "qpip" plugin.
