Sorry if I missed the related discussion.

Can you shade some light here? What exactly is the problem with SAGA 7
and the processing message?

I am asking as the ports maintainer of QGIS and SAGA GIS for FreeBSD. On
FreeBSD we already have QGIS 3.18.0 and SAGA GIS 7.9.0.
