Yes, indeed. Very good point! Reusing older devices is also more environmental friendly than buying new ones, even if they are repairable. The Samsung Note 4 seems to be a good candidate for mobile Linux (see e.g. device notes for postmarketOS[1]). But from your writing I understand that you already have some experience with Ubuntu Touch (lomiri framework) on that phone? For QGIS to run there you would probably need an ARM build, which should be doable[2]... Maybe Fedora (which may support the Galaxy Note 4[3]) and also provides mobile Linux frameworks already provides a binary package. From the rmp-list[4] it seems so... Or do you already have QGIS running on your Note 4?
