Good day all
There doesn't seem to be an easy way in either 2.18 or 3.0 to open a
layer defintion file. It seems like the only option you have is to use
the browser, and then there isn't a file type filter for it.
In Qgis 3 the browser is very slow to read the file tree, so to browse
each level there is a delay waiting for it to read the folder names.
