Hi,
Maybe you can try to save your styles in .qlr or .sld files then load it
in your new project.

I am running both 2.14.2 and 2.8.8 because I decided to go to the
stable version, but I started everything in the 2.14.2 version and
when I open some of my projects in 2.8.8 some of the lables and layer
symbology is dropped.
Any tool, add on or not, that can handle this or am I doomed to
rebuilding my symbology?
