http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/27702/what-is-the-srid-of-census-gov-shapfiles claims that the projection is EPSG 4269, however the map at http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/4269/ shows the projection as not valid for North America.
Am I not reading the map at SpatialReference.org right? Is the map there wrong? Is this not the correct projection for the TIGER files? Thanks, Jim
