Dear Users, I use Gmsh (GMesh, automatic mesh generator) to draw a triangular finite element mesh to be used by a 2 or 3DÂ hydrodinamic model (shallow water equation model). Gmsh write the mesh in differrent formats, most of them to be loaded in 3D CAD modeller (mechanical usage). The simplest format is a text file (.msh) easly understandable, basicly the list of nodes in the first part of the file, then the list of elements, each of them with the 3 nodes. I wonder if anyone has suggestions how to import in QGis this file, or if there is a tool for this porpouse. Thanks a lot everyone. best Regard Francesco -- Francesco Maicu ISMAR - CNR Arsenale Tesa 104 - CASTELLO 2737/E 30122 Venezia Italy
