dear all, i think this is a simple question but i cant find an answer googling it... i am working on the symbolization of a road network downloaded from OSM, using qgis 2.8.2. i have a single shapefile, each road segment has attributes (name, type, bridge, tunnel etc...) i have symbolized it using "categorized" symbols by "type" column (major roads are thicker and in different color etc...) all roads have black outlines, and they all blend together as i worked on the symbol levels to obtain that the problem is that i would NOT like the roads to blend as they do in crossroads, when they are not crossroads: ie when there is a bridge or underpass and the roads dont actually join. i think i can do it using the bridge value. in other words i have to instruct qgis to do the following: - if "bridge" value is "1" road should be represented on the top of the intersecting roads bearing value "0" - if crossing roads have the same bridge value, they should join (it is a crossroad) is there a way to obtain it??? style rules can help? and how?
thank you
