Are you updating a previous QGIS installation using the OSGeo4W
Network Installer *

or are you installing QGIS using the OSGeo4W Standalone Installer?
What QGIS version are you trying to update to QGIS 3.26.0?
*R: QGIS 3.24.2*
Is your Operative System a 64 bit one?
*YES*
