Hi Loren, You did not mention what kind of data you are working with.
Maybe shape files? In that case this behaviour is possible/seen when the shape index (of your shape) is corrupt or wrong. Can you try to ditch the shx file and create a new one via QGIS? If not shape: provide some more details plz Regards, Richard Duivenvoorde On 08-01-2025 15:08, Loren Holgate via QGIS-Developer wrote:
Hi there, Recently whilst my colleagues and I have been using QGIS (various versions) we have been experiencing a glitch which really hinders our work. As we are adding polygons etc, when we zoom into the project the polygons disappear, but then reappear once we zoom back out. Have you heard of this before and please can you tell us how to fix this issue? We have tried fixed geometries and removing null geometries but none of this has helped. *Kind regards* *Loren Holgate **| * Graduate Ecologist T: 01473 353 519 M: 07594 840 967 E: lo...@geosphere-environmental.co.uk <mailto:lo...@geosphere-environmental.co.uk> W: geosphere-environmental.co.uk <http://www.geosphere-environmental.co.uk/> *Facebook <https://www.facebook.com/pg/Geosphere1>****|****X <https://twitter.com/GeosphereEnviro>****|****Instagram <https://www.instagram.com/geosphereenvironmental>**|****Linkedin <https://www.linkedin.com/company/geosphere-environmental-ltd/>* ** ** *Geosphere Environmental Ltd* Brightwell Barns, Ipswich Road, Brightwell*,* Suffolk, IP10 0BJ *Geotechnical, Environmental and Ecological Consultancy* Registered in England and Wales No. 7107630 VAT No. 985 4247 79 *Consider the environment, please think before printing this email* ** Chas Sketch001 This email and any files transmitted with it are the property of Geosphere Environmental Ltd.
