Thanks again Greg. Those are some good suggestions. And yes, your are right: I probably should not bother anymore with 8 year old installs.
Your "perhaps relevant" link at the end was spot-on actually: my issue is exactly related to QtWebKit(Widgets). I had a user report that it wasn't supported anymore, but he did not include any specifics (version, OS, etc.). I am on Windows myself and I'm running the latest LTS (3.34) with PyQt 5.15.13 and QtWebKit is still supported. PyQt doesn't even raise a deprecation warning or anything. So this stuff is complicated... Either way, it seems to be better to refactor my code to use QtWebEngine instead. Then I might still get complaints from that one user that still uses a 9 year old version of QGIS, but that complaint would be easier to ignore ;) _______________________________________________ QGIS-Developer mailing list QGIS-Developer@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
