Hi developers, happy New Year!
A customer is working with a QGIS project (which I cannot share in public) with many layers. Panning/Moving to an location outside the current extent triggers short (0,5-1 sec) freezes.
Using the project with the old 3.16 version is working without freezes during panning the map.
Using the project with a current version (3.30 or greater) results in short freezes.
I would like to ask for some ideas on what could trigger those short freezes during panning the map? I guess reading the map data and painting the map is done in a background thread.
