Hi, I'm the developer of the VoGIS Profile Tool. I understand the goal of unifying and it makes total sense to reduce redundancy, but this plugin was contract work for the Austrian province Vorarlberg ( https://vorarlberg.at/web/land-vorarlberg/-/landesamt-fuer-vermessung-und-geoinformation-lvg) tailored to their needs (eg hectometers)
I have to consult with them about their thoughts first before being able to provide any suggestions.
