As Alessandro was telling: "A QEP a day keeps the doctor away" I want do a proposal to make QgsNetworkAccessManager a little more user/python friendly, so (plugin) dev's don't have to rely no external libs anymore.
I hope there is somebody willing to take this up, as I probably will not be able to handle this..
