here, on any qgis version > 2.8.* loading the only layer in this service (on both Windows and Linux) causes QGIS to crash. This must be reported as regression. Please file a ticket. It seems that the above service is based on Mapserver, this could be important as a quick test with WCS layers from Geoserver do not cause the crash, but maybe a factor could be the datasource of course.
