Agreed: redundancy in analyses helps double-checking, and overcoming eventual bugs. The filtering mechanism in Sextante makes redundancy far less confusing than the usual dropdown menu approach. So I vote for moving all algorhithms to Sextante, and removing GDALTools and fTools only when the former is well tested.
