Hi Tim, list, two weeks ago I made a pull request to improve context help for actions. I added some lines to explain how expressions in actions work and also the "search string on web" example. I do not pushed it because I'm waiting somebody checks my (bad) english.
In addition, I think that adding a button "Default actions" (like default servers in WMS) can help to understand how actions works, maybe we could move examples there. Comments are welcome.
