It's a pity but I have pretty much no idea about C++.
If someone has time and competence, I can discuss the behavior and he
could add it to Qgis core.
At the same time, I think this plugin doesn't meet yet the requirements
in terms of stability and GUI to be in core.
Please let me know if someone's interested, otherwise I might do this in
a few months (or years...).
