Hi all.
The framework is IMHO a very useful addition to QGIS. To make it really usable, however, we still miss: - a SAGA package (for Debian and related distros) that uses the same Python of QGIS (in my case, QGIS uses py27, saga deb uses py26)
- an upgrade of osgeo4w using py27 (now stuck to py25 AFAIK)
- an OTB package for Debian (this cannot go to official Debian, for technical reasons, so it will have to go to an unofficial repo). I'm investing on the last issue, and I invite interested parties to do the same for other issues. Once the above points fixed, we plan to support further development of the plugin, following priorities outlined in https://github.com/polymeris/qgis/wiki. We have very limited resources for this, so any cooperation will be welcome.
All the best.
