1 - Open a new QGIS project
2 - Set coords system to GOOGLE MERCATOR: EPSG:900913
3 - Enable 'On the fly projection'
4 - Load your shapefile
5 - Use Google layer plugin to import the raster(s) you want
6 - Reproject the Google raster layer(s), with the raster wrap tool, to the projection you use
7 - Use the reprojected raster(s) into your project.
