Four years ago I reported a bug https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/issues/249 and as part of cleaning up prior to retirement, I want to get my patch published. However, after 5 years of no edits to target/i386/tcg/seg_helper.c I see you've made a few changes that collide with my patches. The collision appears to be minor, as our edits appear to be solving different problems. I will get out a patch sometime in the next few days, and would like to send it your way as well for your evaluation.
