Good day,

The above Linux version supports iBCS (Intel biary compatibility system)
which is required to execute the SCO binary I have to run to do development
on a system that's been around since the early nineties. Later version do
not support this.

I have a virtual that was created with VMWare version 7.1 so many years ago
and I want to run this VM on QEMU as a KVM. It does not work though. It has
issues with the disks.

Creating a brand new VM with from an RHL5.1 ISO results in the same trouble.

Virtualbox runs it happily on a Windows host.

It does not have a gui and I want to run it on a VPS where it can be
stopped, started etc with virsh.

Is there some adjustment I can make to improve the situation?

RHL5.1 was in use from 1998 - 2002.

Best regards

Hugo Meyer
