Public bug reported: Hi, i'm working on proxmox 2 distribution,
we are using qemu-kvm-git. Users reports kvm segfault with some system guest, after live migration with usb tablet. original thread: http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/8455-2-0RC1-Live-Migration-VM-Crashes-after-a-few-minutes Guests with the bug: Fedora 16, 64 Bit. with latest updates installed. Tried VirtIO and IDE Centos 6.2 64 Bit OpenSUSE 12.1, 64-Bit Guest without bugs: Windows 7 Professional, 32 Bit Windows 7 Professional, 64 Bit Windows 2008 X64 Ubuntu 10.04, 64 Bit Debian squeeze 64bit How to reproduce : (100%) - Start a vm - Migrate it on a target host - Open Vnc console. (Guest works fine, we can connect with ssh, and we can use keyboard in vnc) - Move the mouse in vnc -> CRASH Workaround: Disabling tablet resolve the problem Our qemu-kvm configure: ./configure --prefix=/usr --datadir=/usr/share/kvm --docdir=/usr/share/doc/pve-qemu-kvm --sysconfdir=/etc --disable-xen --enable-vnc-tls --enable-sdl --enable-uuid --enable-linux-aio I had tried to debug with gdb (with ./configure --enable-debug), but I didn't have symbols for the backtrace. (maybe does it neep to compile external libs with debug too ? I'm not an expert, so please help ;) ** Affects: qemu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of qemu- devel-ml, which is subscribed to QEMU. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/943186 Title: kvm segfault after livemigration with tablet Status in QEMU: New Bug description: Hi, i'm working on proxmox 2 distribution, we are using qemu-kvm-git.
