I just noticed that Jan's patch does strncasecmp() for bit, so if we want those semantics here too (foo=TRUE,bar=False,foobar=yES) I can send a v9. I really hate replying to myself though, so I'll wait a bit for other review comments to avoid a further surge in patch revisions.
